We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Country General Manager to join AsstrA in Spain. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing sales professional to drive business growth, establish a strong market presence, and progressively take on broader leadership responsibilities.

This role requires a strong focus on business growth, customer development and market expansion. The first priority will be to strengthen sales activity, develop new business opportunities and build a solid commercial pipeline. At the same time, you will be responsible for organizing and improving local business processes, team performance and operational efficiency.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced commercial professional who combines strong sales capabilities with leadership experience, business acumen and a solid understanding of international freight forwarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the business development strategy for Spain.
• Actively drive sales growth and new customer acquisition.
• Personally participate in key customer meetings,



negotiations and strategic commercial activities.
• Strengthen relationships with existing clients and business partners.
• Build, manage and develop the local team.
• Improve internal processes, cooperation and operational performance.
• Monitor business results, KPIs, profitability and market development.
• Ensure effective cooperation with AsstrA teams in other countries.
• Represent AsstrA on the Spanish logistics market.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding, logistics or transport (Road Transportation).
• Strong commercial background and successful experience in business development.
• At least 3 years of experience in a senior commercial, leadership or business management role.
• Experience in managing a team, business unit or country organization.
• Ability to develop sales activity and build business from the market.
