Angelini Pharma is looking for an Area Sales Manager to join its Consumer Healthcare Business Unit in Catalonia (preferably located in Barcelona or the surrounding area). In this role, you won’t just drive results in the field: you’ll help shape our commercial strategy, lead strategic projects such as the commercial policy for independent pharmacies, discount policy and customer contracts, and inspire a high-performing team to exceed its goals.

About the role
The Area Sales Manager plays a strategic and highly analytical role in shaping commercial success and maximizing team performance. Beyond driving results in the field, the Area Manager is expected to think and act as a business owner, contributing to the definition of the commercial strategy and taking an active role in strategic projects such as commercial policy for independent pharmacies, discount policy and customer contracts definition.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead performance management processes, providing clear goals, ongoing feedback, and structured development plans.




• Ensure excellence in execution by planning activities, tracking outcomes, and implementing corrective actions when needed.
• Apply strong financial acumen to budgeting, forecasting, and profitability decisions.
• Use strategic thinking to align long-term plans with business objectives and market opportunities.
• Contribute to the definition of the commercial strategy and lead or support strategic projects such as the commercial policy for independent pharmacies, discount policy design and customer contract definition.
• Continuously track and analyze business KPIs (sales, margin, discounts, gross to net) using tools such as Excel and Power BI, translating data into actionable insights and corrective actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, medical, compliance, regulatory, and other key teams.
