About GuidesUnited

GuidesUnited is a booking platform built and run by working tour guides, hosted in Geneva, Switzerland. Travellers book tours directly with local guides, and the guide keeps 91.25% of every booking.

We're looking for passionate, qualified guides who want to reach more travellers without giving away a large share of their work.

This is not an employed position. You stay independent: your tours, your prices, your calendar.

Why guides join
- Free to join. No sign-up cost, no monthly subscription, no listing charges.
- One platform cost of 8.75%, charged only when a tour sells. It already includes card payment processing. Most booking platforms take between 20% and 50%.
- Every price shows the split between what you earn and what the platform keeps. Nothing is added on top of your tour price.
- Search ranking comes from reviews and how quickly you reply. Money plays no part in it.
- Take full card payment, or have travellers pay a small deposit online and collect the balance from them on the day.
- Trip requests: travellers describe the tour they'd like,



and you send a proposal.
- Your tour is shown in six languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Turkish.
- A booking widget for your own website, and a Bókun connection if you already sell there.
- Invite other guides and receive 10% of the platform cost on their bookings.

Who we're looking for
- Qualified or licensed guides, wherever your city or country requires it
- People who know their place deeply and love sharing its stories
- Guides registered to work independently in their own country
- Quick, friendly communicators with travellers
- Comfortable managing bookings and check-in from a phone
