We are seeking a dedicated Controls Engineer to perform L1 commissioning in the field at various customer sites throughout the East Coast. This role involves remote I/O checks, setting up IP addresses for VFD's, verifying device communications to PLC, and performing basic edits to PLCs.ResponsibilitiesConduct L1 commissioning at different customer sites on the East Coast.Set up IP addresses for VFD's.Verify device communications to PLC.Perform basic edits to PLCs.Experience with commissioning in the fieldProficiency with Rockwell PLCsKnowledge of VFDs and conveyer systemsExperience with automation and field serviceBachelor's DegreeAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with HMIFamiliarity with device communicationsThis role involves traveling to customer sites throughout the East Coast, following 10 days on, 4 days off schedule. Work will be conducted in the field, with meetings often held via MS Teams. You will have the opportunity to support major clients such as Amazon, UPS, USPS, and others like FedEx.
