The Barcelona Supercomputing Center researches, develops, and manages information technologies to facilitate scientific progress. It combines high-performance computing services with research and development in computer and computational science, including life, earth, and engineering sciences.

- Train and fine-tune AI models for language, image, and code generation
- Analyze spatial data
- Assist in preparing data for training
- Assist in training models
- Collaborate with internal and external project researchers

Требования:

- Degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science
- Experience gathering datasets from spatial data portals
- Knowledge and professional experience with Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and QGIS
- Experience with agentic coding systems
- Good written and spoken English
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Будет плюсом: PhD, Python or R, GIS Python packages such as ArcPy or PyQGIS, training and use of LLMs and other generative AI models, experience training and deploying AI models in HPC environments

The selection process includes curriculum analysis (40 points) and an interview phase (60 points); a minimum of 30 out of 60 interview points is required.

The recruitment panel will have at least three members, with at least 25% women.

The process includes at least one technical and one administrative interview, a personality questionnaire, and a technical exercise.

Interviewed candidates will receive feedback on the acceptance or rejection of their profile.
