Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead and shape mission systems for maritime surveillance and ASW programs within a high-performing team. You’ll translate customer needs into robust design solutions and oversee system integration, verification, and airworthiness across the lifecycle. You will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges and support commercial campaigns. This is a chance to influence multi-sensor architectures and contribute to critical defence missions at Airbus Defence and Space.

• Manage integration of sensors (Acoustic, MAD, Radar, etc.) and subsystems
• Oversee System Integration u0026 Lifecycle within a V-shaped development framework
• Lead Vu0026V activities including lab validation and flight/testing support




• Provide technical guidance to specialized suppliers throughout procurement lifecycle
• Support Services and Commercial campaigns related to Mission Systems

Responsabilidades
• Educational background in Aerospace, Electronic, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering with a preferred Master’s degree
• Minimum 5 years of ISR Mission Systems or Avionics experience in aerospace/defence
• Deep knowledge in domains like ASW, acoustic systems, MAD, mission computing and avionics integration
• Experience with aeronautical data buses (MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, Ethernet/AFDX) and system-level integration
• Knowledge of airworthiness/certification processes and Vu0026V
• Strong safety and cybersecurity awareness with regulation familiarity (DO-326A / ED-202A)
• Maritime surveillance domains (radar, electro-optics, SIGINT/ELINT/ESM/COMINT, AIS) and tactical datalinks (Link 16, VMF, Link 22)
• Fluency in Spanish and English; French advantageous
• Proactive, assertive, resilient under pressure with international collaboration spirit
• Willingness to travel for customer discussions, supplier oversight and flight tests
