Experteer Overview As a Senior Platforms Engineer, you will design, modernize, and govern secure, scalable hybrid and multi-cloud platforms to support enterprise needs. You’ll lead cross-functional programs, drive automation via Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD, and implement policy-driven infrastructure for reliability and speed. The role combines hands-on platform engineering with strategic governance across data centers, cloud, containers, and edge tech. You’ll mentor engineers, influence stakeholders, and push for measurable outcomes in cost, reliability, and deployment velocity. This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of technology, operations, and business goals.

• Maintain compliance with original designs and standards; implement IaC, CI/CD, automation, and policy-driven practices for consistency and speed. • Drive modernization with a strategic platform vision; influence stakeholders and balance technical, operational, and business priorities. • Lead cross-functional programs and vendor partnerships; own end-to-end initiatives and foster innovation and measurable outcomes. • Create and maintain a knowledge base; promote knowledge sharing, trainings, and mentoring across teams.

Responsabilidades • 5+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure/platform engineering • Experience racking infrastructure hardware (Dell, HP, etc.) • Experience with Linux, Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-V/Nutanix, and storage systems • Experience planning end-of-life hardware refreshes, including resource, cost, migration, and rightsizing strategies • Experience architecting integrations with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or others) • Experience with backup and recovery strategies and systems (e.g., Rubrik); familiarity with disaster recovery exercises • Proven ownership of large-scale initiatives (e.g., cloud migrations, data center transformations, hybrid cloud implementations) • Experience in regulated or complex environments including security and uptime requirements
