Our client is an exclusive boutique M&A; and Corporate Development advisory firm specializing in cross-border acquisitions for industrial groups and platforms backed by private equity funds. Highly international, the firm advises its clients on mid -market transactions (enterprise value between €10 million and €50 million) across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas.
With the majority of its clients having an active Buy-and-Build strategy, the firm created the position of Director in Barcelona to manage these strategic deployments.
The Challenges of the Position
As a Director, you will assume full and independent responsibility for end-to-end transactions.



You will work directly with the Founding Partner on complex situations and negotiations. Your role will be to leverage your in-house external growth experience and apply it to a variety of sectors, companies, and geographies.
Main Missions
- Origination & Strategy: Define acquisition strategies with clients and develop target pipelines.
- Execution & Closing: Taking full leadership on deal execution: from initial contact with target executives to closing.
- Integral Coordination: Leading audits (due diligence), managing counsel for both parties (lawyers, auditors) and managing the interpersonal and political dynamics specific to the final stages of negotiation.
- Examples of recent mandates for the firm: Successive acquisitions for a tech platform in London (Asia, Europe, LatAm), take-private of a Danish industrial company for a French PE fund, or industrial carve-out in Germany for an Italian buyer.
