Experteer Overview As an Electrical Engineer in Ramboll’s Power Systems team, you contribute to high‑impact energy transition projects in offshore wind, carbon capture, and related infrastructures. You will work with a general, high‑performing team to advance feasibility, design, and engineering delivery across international projects. Your role focuses on technical analysis, client coordination, and site support to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient cable systems. - Review project documents and perform gap analyses to produce technical reports
- Manage clients and third parties (civil, substation, crossings, etc.)
- Conduct cable rating and thermal calculations
- Design underground cable routing, jointing, and transition interfaces with substations and civil works
- Develop cable installation strategies (direct burial, HDD, drilling; crossings)
- Perform site visits,



installation support, and factory inspections during cable manufacturing
- Prepare inspection and test plans and address non-conformities during manufacturing, installation, and commissioningResponsabilidades
- +2 years' experience in underground HV cable system route design, civil works and installation (66kV–400kV)
- Experience with Cymcap or similar cable rating software
- Experience with cable-related international and local standards
- Fluent in English; Dutch and German a plus
- Experience in cable accessories a plus
