Experteer Overview
As Engineering Manager at Factorial, you will lead teams while staying closely connected to delivery, shaping AI-native product development and scalable architectures. You’ll translate business needs into technical roadmaps, mentor engineers, and foster a culture of rapid learning and responsible experimentation. You’ll drive cross-team collaboration and ensure production-ready AI features align with customer value and company goals. This is a hands-on leadership role at a company redefining how AI powers business workflows.

• Draft and own team roadmap; align with business goals
• Lead and grow engineers beyond your own level; hire and onboard new teammates
• Review RFCs, provide feedback, and push for high-quality delivery
• Coordinate initiatives across teams to strengthen platform foundations
• Lead the shift to AI-native product development and safe AI practices
• Run weekly 1:1s focused on development and well-being of team members
• Collaborate with other engineering managers to drive cross-team programs




• Set examples for rigorous problem-solving and curiosity in design decisions
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure technical decisions deliver customer value
• Participate in building AI-powered features and workflows from idea to production

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years as a Full-stack engineer or similar role
• 3+ years leading engineering teams
• Strong API design experience (REST, GraphQL) and integrations
• Understanding of scalability, performance, and quality in production
• Ability to connect technical decisions to business outcomes
• Experience hiring and building strong teams
• Comfortable cross-team collaboration and platform/service foundations
• Ability to facilitate Socratic discussions and solve problems through dialogue
