Experteer Overview
In this role you own and shape the Internal Developer Platform, building it from the ground up and driving adoption across NGA and IFS teams. You combine hands-on delivery with architectural thinking to deliver a developer-friendly platform, from golden paths to production observability. You communicate technical vision to product leaders and engineers alike, ensuring a coherent, secure surface and measurable impact. This is a strategic, hands-on IC role at scale, focused on transforming developer experience.

• Own the IDP vision, roadmap and end-to-end execution, including service catalog, self-service scaffolding, golden paths, CI/CD integration, and developer portals
• Own the developer experience vision for the Nexus platform from service creation to production observability
• Collaborate with Kairos, Nexus, Auth, Base Tech, and product teams to deliver cohesive developer experiences
• Define platform standards that make the right way the easy way
• Drive measurable adoption: onboarding time, self-service completion rates, platform NPS, time-to-first-deployment, DORA metrics
• Integrate authentication and authorization services into the IDP self-service model
• Work with NGA product teams and IFS Ru0026D domains to prioritize fixes based on observed struggle points
• Partner with IAM, infrastructure, and SRE teams to ensure a coherent, reliable and secure developer surface




• Establish feedback loops, developer surveys, usage analytics, office hours and act on them
• Influence platform strategy at architectural level and represent the developer platform in technical leadership forums
• Mentor Principal and Senior platform engineers to raise the bar on DX at IFS

Responsabilidades
• 8+ years in platform, infrastructure, or developer-tooling engineering
• deep hands-on infrastructure experience (Kubernetes, GitOps, IaC, CI/CD, secrets management, observability)
• ownership of an IDP or developer portal end-to-end (Backstage, Port, Cortex or equivalent)
• experience shipping platform components (golden paths, service templates, CI/CD standardisation) at enterprise scale
• ability to treat internal developers as customers, with surveys, metrics, and data-driven prioritisation
• comfort with NGA stack or ability to learn quickly: Go, React/Next.js, Kafka/RedPanda, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes (AKS)
• strong communication with engineering leadership and product directors
• experience in a large, distributed engineering organisation and building platform trust
