In this role you will lead the design, development, and scale of Ebury’s central Data Platform to support the company’s global growth. You’ll collaborate with data scientists, analytics engineers, and BI leads to deliver robust, scalable data capabilities.
You will establish governance and security standards while driving innovation with cloud-native and open-source technologies. You’ll work in a hybrid Madrid setting, playing a key part in shaping data-driven decision making across the business.

Responsabilidades

- Proven experience designing, building, and operating production data platforms, data lakes, and cloud data warehouses at scale
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and large-scale query optimization
- Deep expertise in traditional modeling for structured and unstructured data (graph modeling is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with GCP or equivalent cloud ecosystems (Big Query, serverless, containers)
- Self-motivated, curious, proactive about staying on data architecture and open-source practices
- Professional fluency in English (Spanish is a plus)
