Overview As part of our R&D; team in Barcelona, you will design and maintain embedded firmware for next

- generation diagnostic devices.

You will work closely with hardware and software groups to translate requirements into robust firmware, enabling precise assays and safe manufacturing/testing.

This role blends hands-on prototyping with real-time software and cybersecurity considerations to support world-wide patient outcomes.

You will shape embedded solutions in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

- Design, implement, and maintain embedded firmware (C/C++) for hardware subsystems
- Develop low-level drivers, control loops, and real-time components for microcontrollers
- Hands-on work with prototype instruments and laboratory tools




- Translate product requirements into detailed firmware specifications
- Create manufacturing tests, calibration routines, and service diagnostics
- Ensure data integrity, cybersecurity, and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems teams Requisitos principales
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Automation) or Physics
- Experience in scientific or industrial instrumentation, preferably in regulated environments
- Strong programming skills (Python, C, C++)
- Knowledge of AI/ML and data processing is a plus
