Experteer Overview
Senior Software Engineer at Kompanion to help build an AI-native platform for tax, accounting, and financial workflows. You’ll own features end-to-end and influence product and engineering culture in a small, growing team. You work across the stack, improve reliability, security, and performance, and collaborate with Tax, Accounting, Growth, and Operations. This is a hands-on role with broad ownership and a clear impact on product and platform quality.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Own features end to end from definition to production and validation
• Build across the stack with emphasis on backend systems and business logic
• Operate the platform in production, improving reliability, performance, observability, and security
• Collaborate closely with Tax, Accounting, Growth, and Operations
• Develop integrations, automations, internal tools, and AI-powered features
• Improve architecture, developer experience, testing,



and engineering standards
• Review code, mentor engineers, and participate in hiring

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of experience building and operating production software
• Strong backend engineering experience
• Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot or ability to become productive quickly
• Solid PostgreSQL knowledge (data modeling and query performance)
• Ability to work with React or Next.js when needed
• Experience owning systems in production
• Strong fundamentals in clean code, testing, security, and system design
• High autonomy and ability to convert ambiguous problems into shipped products
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field welcome but not required
