Overview

In this R&D; Specialist role, you will contribute to developing and maintaining diagnostic products across chemistry, immunoassays, coagulation analytics, and mass spectrometry. You will design and run laboratory experiments, analyze results, and support method development in a regulated setting while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You’ll help ensure quality, documentation, and compliance, contributing to Roche’s mission to improve general access to healthcare. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role in a fast-moving diagnostic environment.

Responsabilidades

Plan and perform laboratory experiments including sample prep, solution preparation, analytical testing, and complex test series Contribute to development and optimization of biochemical, immunodiagnostic, and analytical methods with experimental design Analyze data to identify trends and deviations, and support root-cause investigations Document activities and results per quality standards, SOPs, data integrity, and regulatory requirements Prepare and communicate results via technical reports and meetings in English when needed Support operation, calibration, qualification,



and deviations documentation of lab equipment and analytical systems Collaborate with colleagues on development, regulatory, and technical activities and share knowledge Foster a safe, collaborative, high-quality lab environment and drive continuous improvement

Requisitos principales

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, biology, biomedical sciences, pharmacy, or related field (or relevant vocational training with experience) Hands-on lab experience with biochemical, biological, medical, diagnostic, or analytical methods Experience with analytical instruments and lab equipment Ability to plan and execute experiments with increasing independence Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret results Good documentation, SOP adherence, quality and safety awareness Proficiency in English Collaborative mindset with curiosity and willingness to learn and share knowledge collaborative mindset curiosity strong communication analytical instruments and laboratory equipment method development and testing data interpretation and statistical thinking (DoE is listed as advantageous)
