Overview

In this role you will design and build high-scale, cloud-native systems that power vehicle history, VIN intelligence, and transaction platforms. You will work on Java/Spring Boot services in AWS, with event-driven data pipelines and AI-assisted development practices. You’ll influence architecture, drive high-performance APIs, and mentor engineers while collaborating with partners to deliver mission-critical integrations. The opportunity centers on scalable, reliable systems and introducing intelligent, AI-powered enhancements that improve development and operations.

Responsabilidades

- Design and deliver high-performance APIs and microservices for vehicle history and transaction systems
- Build and scale Java/Spring Boot services in AWS for real-time workloads
- Architect and implement event-driven pipelines using Kafka/SQS
- Lead development of complex features and platform enhancements
- Contribute to architecture for scalability and reliability across services
- Improve CI/CD, observability, testing, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with product, data, and partner teams on integrations
- Own full SDLC: design, build, deploy, operate




- Mentor engineers and foster engineering culture through reviews and leadership
- Integrate AI-assisted workflows and agent-driven capabilities into engineering processes and production systems
- Evaluate AI outputs for quality, security, and compliance; optimize latency and cost for AI-powered solutions
- Apply knowledge of embeddings, fine-tuning, and dataset prep to real-world use cases

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field (or equivalent)
- 10+ years building large-scale distributed systems
- Strong Java and Spring Boot, microservices, REST API design
- Hands-on AWS experience (compute, storage, containers, networking, security, monitoring)
- Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, SQS, ActiveMQ)
- Observability tools experience (Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog)
- Front-end experience with React/JavaScript/HTML/CSS (full-stack preferred)
- PostgreSQL/DB2 and performance tuning
- Solid Agile, SDLC, and modern engineering practices
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
