Overview

Join MongoDB’s Query Execution Team to help build a high‑performing, modular distributed query system. You’ll contribute to the engine’s functionality, improve performance, and add new language features in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment. You’ll work on robust, scalable code that powers critical workloads across customers. Responsabilidades

- Understand and improve the current functionality of the MongoDB query engine
- Contribute high‑quality C++ code and participate in code reviews
- Design, implement, test,



and support new features for query performance, robustness, language enhancements, diagnostics, and integration with other products/tools
- Collaborate with peers to deliver technically sound solutions

Requisitos principales

- 5+ years of experience in systems programming
- Experience with large code bases, preferably in C++, C, Rust or similar compiled language
- B.Sc in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent practical experience
- Interest in the theory and practice of database query engines; hands‑on software development experience
