Overview

In this remote role within the EU, you will join the Development team collaborating with a major client’s IT unit. You will design and build tools to interact with social media and support data collection, plus create user-friendly interfaces for data annotation and analysis. You will develop back-end APIs, automate workflows with Bash/Python, and maintain Linux-based development environments. You will ensure scalability, security, and performance while providing ongoing tooling support. This position offers exposure to a multinational project and the chance to shape data-driven solutions for complex environments.

Responsabilidades

- Design and develop tools to interact with social media platforms and streamline data collection workflows
- Create front-end interfaces for data annotation and analysis using modern frameworks
- Develop back-end APIs and services to store, manage, and process data and integrate with analysis pipelines
- Write automation scripts using Bash and Python to optimize tasks and workflows




- Configure and maintain Linux-based development and testing environments
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of tools via automation and monitoring
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for developed tools

Requisitos principales

- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with at least 7 years of IT experience
- Minimum 3 years automation and scripting experience with Bash and Python
- Experience in Python, JavaScript, and web development (HTML/CSS)
- At least 3 years full-stack web development experience
- Minimum 3 years frontend development with modern frameworks (e.g., React) and HTML/CSS/JS
- Minimum 3 years backend API development with frameworks such as Flask and database integration
- Minimum 3 years database management with MySQL and MongoDB
- Minimum 3 years Linux system administration including security and networking
- Minimum 3 years containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Minimum 3 years agile methodologies, Git, and project tracking tools
