Overview

In this Barcelona-based role, you will own end-to-end delivery of AI-native software that powers clinical trials. You’ll work across backend, frontend, and AI-enabled features to ship production code and shape engineering practices for AI-assisted development. You’ll collaborate in a regulated environment to ensure compliant, scalable solutions that improve patient outcomes. This is a hands-on position with immediate product impact and a path to influence engineering culture across teams.

Responsabilidades

- Own full-stack product delivery from design to deployment and monitoring to power clinical trials at scale.
- Design and implement LLM-powered workflows and AI-driven user experiences; develop prompt patterns and testing strategies.
- Build scalable backend and API services (RESTful, GraphQL) and data pipelines with reliability and compliance in mind.
- Contribute to React and React Native frontend when necessary to ensure cohesive user experiences.
- Improve reliability, observability, and incident response; perform root cause analysis and preventive improvements.
- Collaborate on infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, automated deployment, and container orchestration.




- Operate in regulated environments, applying disciplined engineering practices and evidence generation.
- Mentor peers, contribute to agile planning, and elevate team standards through code reviews.

Requisitos principales

- 5+ years of professional software engineering delivering production systems
- Backend proficiency in Java, Node.js, or similar; frontend with TypeScript, React, React Native
- Experience building and operating RESTful and GraphQL APIs; knowledge of HTTP, JSON, OpenAPI
- Document-based storage (MongoDB or similar) and data streaming (Kafka or similar)
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools and integrating AI/LLM features into production apps
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Strong testing discipline (unit, integration, BDD - e.g., Cucumber)
- Familiarity with regulated or compliance-sensitive software development environments
