Overview

In this role you will design, own and deploy global sourcing strategies for Ovivo product categories to optimize total cost of ownership. You will lead supplier negotiations, align with cross-functional partners, and drive sourcing programs from concept to implementation. Based in Barcelona, you report to the Ovivo Commercial Project Manager and shape a best-in-class procurement capability. You will navigate a dynamic, international environment and contribute to continuous improvement and supply reliability.

Responsabilidades

- Develop and deploy strategies to optimize total cost of ownership across identified categories
- Act as business owner for categories, autonomously defining and executing sourcing strategies
- Lead negotiations with suppliers directly
- Engage stakeholders to stay aligned with evolving business needs
- Apply Total Delivered Cost methodology from definition to implementation
- Collaborate with Project Management, Operations, Engineering and Business to meet milestones
- Identify and address supply disruptions and constraints




- Communicate updates to internal stakeholders
- Maintain expert category knowledge, market competition and innovations
- Provide pricing forecasts and monitor feedstock trends
- Link market knowledge to supplier portfolios to gain competitive advantage
- Establish and nurture supplier relationships to create value

Requisitos principales

- 10+ years of international sourcing experience in industrial or engineered-to-order environments
- Bachelor in Engineering and/or Business; sourcing or negotiation certification preferred
- Strong expertise in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, SRM, supplier and contract management
- Experience managing procurement for complex projects in matrix organizations
- Strategic, results-driven, and proactive with influence without authority
- Excellent communication and ability to work in cross-functional, dynamic environments
- Fluent English; additional European language a plus
