Overview

In this role you will own the firmware and software requirements for onboard safety-critical computing platforms in the Air Refueling domain. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure DO-254 and DO-178B/C compliance through all development and certification activities. You will contribute to hardware, firmware, and software integration testing and interact with Certification Authorities to demonstrate DAL A/B objectives. This position offers the chance to shape safety-critical avionics software and firmware in a high-stakes aerospace context. Responsabilidades

- Define and maintain Firmware Requirements Specification (DO-254) for onboard safety-critical computing platforms
- Define and maintain Software Requirements Specification (DO-178B/C) for onboard platforms
- Lead Hardware/Firmware/Software Integration Testing for onboard computers
- Develop DO-254 DAL A/B firmware and participate in verification activities




- Support hardware certification processes with Certification Authorities to meet RTCA DO-254 DAL A/B objectives
- Engage in Software DO-178B/C DAL A/B development and verification, supporting certification
- Support Software Certification processes to demonstrate compliance with RTCA DO-178B/C DAL A/B objectives

Requisitos principales

- VHDL knowledge (high level)
- FPGA/CPLD (Xilinx and Altera) knowledge
- C/C++ programming knowledge
- UML, SysML, Matlab/Simulink, SCADE Suite/Display knowledge
- DO-254 knowledge (Model-Based Design, RMI, HDL Coder, HDL Verifier)
- Hardware Certification processes experience (RTCA DO-254 DAL A/B)
- Software Certification processes experience (RTCA DO-178B/C up to DAL A/B)
- ModelSim and Xilinx ISim simulation experience
- Veristand and LabVIEW knowledge (valued)
- GIT and Bitbucket experience
- Real Time Operating Systems and ARINC653 familiarity (valued)
- Python scripting knowledge (valued)
- AGILE experience (valued)
