Overview

As a Sr. Category Buyer, you will drive strategic sourcing for global categories (Stampings, Red Metals, Machining) within the EII organization, delivering cost, quality, and delivery improvements. You will partner with Category Managers, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to shape supplier strategy, conduct negotiations, and lead cost-reduction initiatives. Your work enables global supply continuity and supplier performance improvements at Littelfuse. This role offers global exposure, cross-region collaboration, and opportunities to influence procurement strategy and supplier base optimization.

Responsabilidades

Develop and execute category strategies with Category Managers and cross-functional teams Manage global procurement activities for assigned categories (Stampings, Red Metals, Machining) Lead RFQs, supplier evaluation, sourcing decisions, and commercial negotiations Manage supplier relationships with regular business reviews and performance improvement actions Develop and implement annual cost reduction initiatives and cost models Maintain AVL, support supplier consolidation, multisourcing,



and rebalancing Identify opportunities to transfer spend to strategic suppliers and improve supply chain competitiveness Collaborate with Engineering and cross-functional teams on cost-saving projects within timelines Negotiate commercial terms to optimize Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) Conduct supplier capacity analysis, monitor performance metrics, and drive corrective actions

Requisitos principales

Experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Purchasing, or Supplier Management in manufacturing RFQ processes, supplier evaluation, and commercial negotiations Cost analysis and cost modeling proficiency Experience with cost reduction and productivity initiatives Supplier base optimization, multisourcing, consolidation, and AVL management Strong project management, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint Conversational English and global team collaboration Willingness to travel as needed Collaborative mindset Influence across functions Results-driven Cost analysis and cost modeling Strategic sourcing and RFQ execution Supplier performance management
