What you will do:
The Roles Key Responsibilities
As an eDOer you will have clear objectives great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the integral company project and its customers As a Backend Architect in the Architect Team you will be in charge of:
- Drive the technical evolution of one or more backend microservices in our platform
- Be the goto person for lead engineers and senior developers for all questions regarding coding design and tools
- Collaborate with multiple teams ~30 developers
- Help business and product in scoping and phasing ideas already in their backlogs
- Contribute ideas to backlogs to help business and product teams with their challenges
- Mentor lead and senior engineers in their technical growth
- Work with other architects in crossteam companylevel technical initiatives

8 years of backend development experience in JavaSoftware coding design patterns architecture and performance engineeringCommunication with both technical and nontechnical peopleAssertiveness and influencing: able to get your point across and challenge those of others in a calm and positive manner
Nice to have
BS in Computer Science or a related technical fieldExperience designing microservicesExperience in other languages and platforms eg JavaScript Groovy SwiftExperience with machine learning systemsExperience in big multilanguagecountry ecommerce websitesExperience in the travel sector
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as GitHub Copilot ChatGPT or other AIpowered coding assistantsExperimentation Mindset: Curiosity and eagerness to explore experiment with and integrate emerging AIdriven solutions into software development workflowsAIEnhanced Problem Solving: Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to debug code streamline development processes and enhance productivityAdaptability and Learning Agility: Enthusiastic about continuously learning and quickly adapting to new AI features and capabilitiesCollaboration with AI:
