About the Role

An international engineering and advanced technology company is seeking a
Configuration Management Coordinator
to support its engineering, product development, and manufacturing operations.

The position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, traceability, and compliance of engineering documentation and product configurations throughout the product lifecycle.

The successful candidate will coordinate engineering changes, maintain configuration baselines, manage technical documentation, and support the effective integration of
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Data Management (PDM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
.

This role requires strong organisational and analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, programme management, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Configuration Management & Engineering Change Control
- Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management processes, procedures,



and documentation.
- Coordinate configuration identification, change control, status accounting, verification, and configuration audits.
- Review proposed engineering changes and evaluate their potential impact on product configurations, technical documentation, and associated systems.
- Manage engineering change records, including
Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Change Notices (ECN), variances, and other modification records
.
- Ensure engineering changes are properly reviewed, authorised, documented, and tracked throughout the approval process.
- Maintain and control technical configuration baselines, document revisions, and configuration status records.
- Coordinate the release and implementation of approved engineering changes across relevant departments.
- Support compliance with established configuration management procedures and programme requirements.
