We are looking for a motivated Junior Legal Officer to join our Legal & Compliance team. You will work closely with our Legal & Compliance team and our Project Managers, supporting both the company's own legal and compliance needs and client-facing legal and compliance projects in the area of patient engagement. It's a hands-on role with a lot of variety: from contracts and policies to project delivery, client communication and workshops.
Key responsibilities
Legal advice, contracts & research
· Support the Senior Legal & Compliance Manager in drafting,
reviewing and negotiating legal agreements for the company and its clients in the area of patient engagement.
· Seek external legal advice where needed.
· Research legal and compliance topics affecting patient engagement and patient advocacy.
· Monitor applicable laws and stay up to date on legal changes.
· Assist with any other contractual, compliance or corporate legal matters of the company and its clients as needed.
Templates, policies & compliance
· Help develop, implement and update the company's legal templates and processes.
· Support the development, implementation and updating of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
· Support the company's data protection compliance, including data processing agreements, privacy notices, records of processing, first handling of data subject requests, etc.
· Review patient-facing materials (e.g. surveys, consent forms) for legal, compliance and data protection requirements.
