Job DescriptionThe Document Controller is responsible for managing the creation, distribution, revision, control, storage, and retrieval of engineering and maintenance documentation by applying document control standards, electronic document management systems, version control processes, metadata requirements, and coordination routines to ensure technical information is accurate, current, compliant, and easily accessible to project teams, maintenance staff, and engineering stakeholders.
This role supports engineering, project, construction, operations, and maintenance activities by maintaining controlled documentation workflows, validating technical records,



supporting document package compilation and close-out, and improving document quality and traceability so that teams work from reliable information throughout the documentation lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, organise, and update engineering and maintenance documents by applying company standards, document numbering, coding, metadata, formatting, and file storage rules to ensure information is accurate, consistent, traceable, and easy to retrieve.
- Manage document workflows by coordinating creation, review, approval, issuance, controlled distribution, archiving, and revision histories to ensure teams work with the latest approved technical documentation.
