We are looking for a Cloud Security Operations Engineer to join our team and work with AXA Partners, a global leader in assistance services, insurance and digital solutions.

What will your responsibilities be?

- Monitor, detect, respond to and mitigate security threats across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of cloud infrastructure and services hosted on Azure and AWS.
- Configure, manage and optimise security solutions, including SIEM, EDR, CSPM and CWPP platforms.
- Design and implement security controls using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code methodologies.
- Automate security processes and controls using Terraform, Ansible and DevSecOps practices.




- Ensure compliance with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS and GDPR.
- Participate in incident response activities and crisis management when required.
- Continuously improve the organisation’s cloud security posture and operational resilience.
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to integrate security into cloud architectures and deployment pipelines.

What profile are we looking for?

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems or a related field.
- Between 4 and 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud operations or similar roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native security tools and services.
- Strong understanding of cloud security architectures and shared responsibility models.
- Proven experience working with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
- Experience designing cloud-based solutions on Azure and/or AWS.
- Expertise in SIEM and EDR platforms, such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike and Microsoft Defender.
- More than 2 years of experience working in DevSecOps environments.
- Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes hardening.
- Experience implementing security controls through Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform.




- Strong understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, Ruby, Perl, YAML, KQL or similar technologies.
- Experience working with security and compliance standards, including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS and GDPR.
- Advanced level of English.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
- Comfortable working in incident management and crisis communication scenarios.

- CISSP certification.
- CCSP certification.
- Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate certification.
- AWS Security Specialty certification.
- Experience securing CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of OpenPaas environments.
