We are looking for a Service Engineer Propulsion to join our Field Service team and perform advanced service activities on Wärtsilä propulsion systems worldwide.
In this role, you will combine hands-on mechanical expertise with control system diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of propulsion equipment both on board vessels and in shipyards.
The preferred location for this position is Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain .
Your role and responsibilities
As a Service Engineer Propulsion, your tasks will include:
Performing troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on propulsion equipment and associated control systems.
Executing commissioning activities, sea trials, and system performance verification.
Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and automation-related issues.
Supporting propulsion control system upgrades, parameter adjus
