About the Role

As Secure Email Product Owner, you will maximize the value and impact of AXA’s global Secure Email product, currently powered by Proofpoint.

Working within the Network & Messaging Product team in AXA Cyber Defense, you will connect customer needs, cybersecurity priorities and technical delivery. You will help define where the product goes next, translate business and security challenges into clear priorities, and enable the team to deliver effective protection against evolving email threats.

This is a global, high-visibility role with regular interaction across AXA entities, technology teams, cybersecurity experts and external partners.

What You’ll Do

- Shape the product direction by working with the Product Manager to evolve the roadmap, prioritize the backlog and focus investment on the areas that deliver the greatest value.
- Strengthen AXA’s protection against email threats by identifying and introducing capabilities that improve detection, prevention and response.
- Turn customer needs into product outcomes by engaging with stakeholders across the Group, understanding their challenges and translating them into actionable priorities.
- Maximize the value of Proofpoint by exploring platform features, assessing new capabilities and supporting their implementation.




- Guide delivery teams through sprint planning, reviews and other Agile activities, providing clear direction and timely feedback.
- Create shared clarity by developing user stories, requirements and accessible product documentation with the team.
- Build trusted partnerships by acting as a key contact for customers, stakeholders and the technology vendor.
- Champion product quality by supporting service performance, resolving recurring pain points and driving continuous improvement.
- Influence global programmes by representing Secure Email in strategic initiatives across AXA Group Operations.

What You’ll Bring

- At least five years of experience in IT product ownership, ideally within cybersecurity.
- Alternatively, strong experience in cybersecurity business analysis or project management, combined with the ability to lead product priorities.
- A solid understanding of cybersecurity, with knowledge of email security technologies and threats.
- Experience applying Agile methodologies and tools in a delivery environment.
- Familiarity with product management, project management and service management practices.
- The ability to balance customer needs, security priorities, technical constraints and operational requirements.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including the confidence to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating across countries, cultures and organizational boundaries.
- Professional fluency in English.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

What Will Make You Stand Out

- Experience managing a cybersecurity product at global or large-enterprise scale.




- A strong understanding of email-based threats, security controls and threat protection capabilities.
- Experience working with vendors and influencing product or service roadmaps.
- The ability to turn complex technical topics into clear decisions and compelling stakeholder communications.
- A continuous-improvement mindset and genuine curiosity about emerging cybersecurity technologies.
