Senior Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join their Spanish engineering team. The Role

You will take a key role in the development of advanced mixed-signal ICs, working across the full design lifecycle from architecture and specification through schematic, layout, verification, silicon and characterisation. Your responsibilities will include:

Specification and design of analog and mixed-signal blocks , including ADCs, DACs, PLLs, data interfaces and optoelectronics. Full AMS design flow from system-level design and schematic through layout and extracted-level verification . Define layout guidelines and review layout implementation.

Collaborate with test engineers on silicon characterisation and validation , analysing lab data and correlating results with simulations. Support integration of analog subsystems with complex digital logic and mixed-signal verification.



Develop system-level models and contribute to product-level characterisation.

Research new architectures and technologies and contribute to patent generation . Present technical work and contribute to design reviews and documentation. Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.

Requirements

MSc/PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline. 5+ years' experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design. Strong hands-on experience across the full analog IC design flow . Experience with

65nm, 28nm or below CMOS technologies . Strong knowledge of full-custom analog layout and extracted-level verification. Experience with

Cadence or Synopsys analog/mixed-signal EDA tools. Experience taking designs through silicon, characterisation and productisation is highly desirable. Excellent written and spoken
