AXA Health Solutions has been created on 1st January 2026 for serving two new risk carriers: AXA Health Insurance and AXA Health Reinsurance.

Both entities provide international health and protection solutions worldwide with two main portfolios:

MAXIS GBN: Captive and Pools solutions for multinational companies,

AXA Health International: health and protection solutions for expatriates and globally mobile individuals.

In this context of entity creation and strong growth driven by our new strategic plan 2027- 2029 “Growing Forward”, the Reinsurance Operations team must be equipped with experienced resources to operationally manage the significant increase in reinsurance transaction volumes, treaty complexity, and regulatory requirements.

The team is currently looking for a Senior Reinsurance Technical Accountant for the MAXIS portfolio.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the management, control, accounting recording of financial flows related to reinsurance treaties (inward and outward) for this portfolio.

Main Responsibilities





Set up and control contractual parameters in the Reinsurance flow Management tool (DCR - Duck Creek Reinsurance tool)

Track and record premiums, claims, commissions, and accounts reported by ceding companies or brokers

Ensure accurate and timely booking of all reinsurance flows

Initiate the settlements and reconcile all cash flows with our accounting entries

Verify the adequacy between accounting data received and the provisions of reinsurance treaties

Ensure alignment with contractual terms and conditions

Analyze variances and discrepancies

Handle anomalies and manage third-party/auxiliary accounts

Contribute actively to continuous improvement initiatives, identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency

Profile

Significant experience in technical accounting preferably in reinsurance

Rigorous and strong analytical skills,

Ability to work with complex data and large volumes of information

Team player and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders (technical, finance, operations, external partners)

Professional level of English (spoken and written)
