Edwards Lifesciences seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician for its manufacturing facility in Valencia, Spain. The role combines preventive and corrective maintenance with documentation and continuous improvement support for production equipment. The technician will work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot failures, minimize production downtime
- Document maintenance activities, work orders, and technical interventions in company systems for compliance
- Support equipment and process validation activities, execute tests, and contribute to reliability projects
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers during on-site maintenance activities
- Work in cleanroom environments following gowning and contamination-control requirements, including off-shift availability
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent technical qualification in Industrial Mechatronics, Electromechanics, Electronics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience with preventive and corrective maintenance and troubleshooting production equipment
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and control systems
- Experience documenting maintenance activities in electronic maintenance systems
- Knowledge of Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies
- Intermediate English level for technical documentation and OEM communication
