Associate Practice Manager – Technology Consulting
Hybrid Working | Approx. 2 days per week in the office
About us
TEKsystems General Services (TGS) partners with organisations to deliver business transformation through technology. Our teams bring together expertise across Cloud, Data & AI, Software Engineering, Product, Quality Engineering, DevOps and Digital Transformation. As our technology consulting practice in Spain continues to grow, we are looking for an Associate Practice Manager to join our Madrid team and work closely with our existing Practice Manager to support our growing engineering population.
Why this role is interesting
This is a great opportunity for someone who has built their career in technology, engineering or technical leadership, has already started leading and developing people, and now wants to take the next step into broader people and practice leadership.
We are not necessarily looking for someone who is already an experienced Practice Manager. What matters is that you understand technology,

can build credibility with engineers and have genuine experience supporting and developing people.
This role gives you the opportunity to broaden your career beyond purely technical leadership without leaving technology behind. You’ll remain closely connected to engineering teams while developing broader experience across people leadership, career development, performance management, workforce planning, hiring, deployment, utilisation and practice operations.
What you’ll be doing
Working closely with our Senior Practice Manager for Spain, you’ll help support an engineering population of approximately 30-35 people across different technology disciplines.
You’ll gradually take greater ownership across:
Regular 1:1s, coaching and career-development conversations
Individual Development Plans, skills development and certifications
Employee engagement and performance-management activities
Workforce planning, utilisation and bench management
