Welo Data is seeking native-level Spanish (Spain) speakers for Project Hydrus, a conversational AI voice recording project.
What You'll Do Submit two short audition recordings demonstrating natural conversational speech and customer-service style
Participate in two supervised recording sessions of approximately 4 hours each
Record scripted material in a natural, everyday conversational tone
Record spontaneous speech on assigned topics while maintaining consistent warmth and pace
Follow live direction from a Session Director during supervised sessions
Manage your own home recording space and professional audio equipment
Record entirely in the required Spanish dialect without switching to other languages or dialects
Requirements Native or native-equivalent fluency in Spanish (Spain)
Experience as a voice actor, actor, theater performer, or comparable performance background
Access to a quiet, echo-free recording environment




Professional-grade microphone for auditions, with qualifying recording equipment for paid sessions
Closed-back monitoring headphones for supervised recording sessions
Ability to self-direct auditions and follow live recording instructions
Basic audio recording skills, including microphone positioning and identifying background noise, clipping, and distortion
Preferred (Not Required) Professional voice-over experience in dubbing, ADR, audiobooks, or conversational podcasting
An existing acoustically treated home recording studio
Location: Remote (Spain)
Pay: $40/hour
