Imagina Energía was founded in 2020 as Spain’s first 100% solar energy company , with the mission of bringing solar energy to homes and businesses in a simple, innovative and sustainable way .

We’re looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology team and help drive the digital capabilities of a growing energy group operating nationwide across Spain.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who combines strong technical expertise, business orientation and experience leading technology teams and software projects.

AI is already deeply embedded in the way our IT team works, including AI-assisted software development. You’ll also play a key role in driving the responsible adoption of AI across the organization and ensuring that it delivers real business value.

What will you do?





- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of 6 people
- Work closely with business teams to understand their real needs and priorities
- Lead IT projects from requirements through to delivery
- Stay hands‑on and contribute to software development and technical design when needed
- Prioritize initiatives based on business impact and value
- Ensure solutions are simple, intuitive, secure and reliable
- Challenge unnecessary requirements and avoid over‑engineering
- Drive the effective and responsible adoption of AI

What are we looking for?

- 15+ years of IT experience
- Strong technical background across Cloud, Cybersecurity, Web & Backend Development, Databases, Infrastructure and AI
- Extensive experience leading technology teams and software projects
- Strong business and product mindset
- Ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions
- A pragmatic, decisive and results‑oriented approach
