MarTech Developer – Salesforce Marketing Cloud – Remote
Empiric are supporting a leading organisation on a long-term MarTech development requirement, with a strong focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), API integrations and email development.
This is a high-priority opportunity for an experienced hands-on developer to join an established technical environment and support the development, integration and optimisation of customer marketing solutions.
The client is specifically looking for a development-focused profile rather than an architect , so strong hands-on coding, integration and SFMC delivery experience will be essential.
Key Skills & Experience

- Strong hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) development.
- 3–5+ years of SFMC experience.
- REST API integration, including authentication and error handling.
- MJML.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and performance optimisation.
- Hands-on software development and integration experience.
- Experience developing and supporting solutions in production environments.
Nice to Haves
-
- BlueConic or similar Customer Data Platform (CDP) experience.
- Experience integrating SFMC with external platforms and APIs.
- Experience within regulated industries such as telecom or financial services.
Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Build and support REST API integrations.
- Develop responsive email templates using HTML, CSS and MJML.
- Create and optimise complex SQL queries.
- Integrate SFMC with external platforms and systems.
- Support troubleshooting, testing and production deployments.
- Work closely with technical and business teams to deliver MarTech solutions.
Location: EU / Nearshore – Portugal preferred
