Role Description This full-time on-site role offers a contract to conduct a doctoral thesis at a CSIC research center in the Greater Madrid Metropolitan Area. The selected candidate will carry out original research under the guidance of a supervisor, including designing experiments or studies, collecting and analyzing data,



and interpreting results. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing scientific literature, participating in research group meetings, preparing manuscripts, and presenting findings at seminars and conferences. The role also involves contributing to project documentation, assisting with grant-related activities when needed, and collaborating with other researchers and technical staff. The candidate will be expected to enroll in a PhD program, follow its academic requirements, and make steady progress toward completion of the doctoral thesis.
Qualifications
• Strong research abilities, including critical analysis of scientific literature, experimental or computational design, and data interpretation.
• Demonstrated scientific writing and communication skills for preparing reports, publications, and presentations in English and/or Spanish.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams,
