The Corporate Sales Team in General Markets is looking for someone to join the team as a VP, based in Madrid. The successful candidate will ensure excellence on all deliverables related to FX and Rates derivatives sales activities that they undertake or directly oversee within their business area, while ensuring that these activities align with BNPP and its clients’ objectives and strategic goals. In this role, the VP will cover Spanish and Portuguese corporate clients, and coordinate junior colleagues, handling complex analyses, client relationships, and executions with autonomy, while exercising sound judgment on when to escalate issues to more senior colleagues.

A high level of professionalism and accountability for the business is expected, aiming for excellence whilst implementing improvements to processes where relevant.

Key Responsibilities

• Cover medium and large Iberian corporates through high commercial intensity and execution.
• Maintain and develop client relationships to achieve annual contribution targets.




• Originate risk management opportunities and deliver on defined commercial objectives.
• Leverage expertise in rates and FX to offer tailored content to senior clients.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide junior staff to support their ongoing professional development.
• Ensure market best practices in risk monitoring and control as the first line of defence.

Profile & Skills

• University degree.
• Expert knowledge of FX & Rates derivatives products, proven through extensive relevant experience and P&L; track record.
• Extensive understanding of risk and control procedures, regulations, and legislation, displaying the highest level of integrity.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate technical concepts and strong technical skills to provide specialist guidance to others.
• Outstanding commercial and communication skills, projecting seniority both internally and externally.
