ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Frontend Engineer, you'll join a dynamic and innovative team focused on building cutting-edge solutions for the energy sector. Working closely with Backend Engineers, Data Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters, you'll help create intuitive, high-performing web applications that transform complex data into meaningful insights.

Day to day, you'll be designing, developing, and maintaining modern web UIs and dashboards that enable users to visualise, analyse, and act on critical data. You'll also contribute to deployment pipelines, infrastructure improvements, and the ongoing evolution of our frontend architecture, helping to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.
The team is building a platform that monitors and analyses the state of the electrical grid, providing real-time alerts when faults or power disruptions occur and helping to maintain reliable power for end consumers. The platform also delivers powerful analytics and visualisation capabilities, enabling users to better understand and manage assets across the energy network.

You'll have the opportunity to work with modern technologies including Vue.js, TypeScript, Mapbox, Plotly, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, while contributing to solutions that have a genuine impact on critical infrastructure. We encourage continuous learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing, giving you the opportunity to grow your skills while helping shape the future of our products.

Most importantly, you'll be part of a team that is passionate about using technology to solve complex real-world challenges. If you're excited by the opportunity to create intuitive user experiences and contribute to technology that supports the future of energy, we'd love to hear from you.
