ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Inside Sales Specialist for Portugal, you will own the full sales cycle for the Portuguese market, from identifying and prospecting new accounts to closing deals and growing them. You will be part of the Alpega sales organization, working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
What you will do
• Outbound prospecting: Drive new business through proactive outbound prospecting: cold calls, emails and LinkedIn outreach to shippers,
carriers and freight forwarders in Portugal.
• High activity: Maintain a consistently high level of daily activity (calls, conversations, meetings booked) in line with team KPIs.
• Lead and opportunity management: Qualify and manage leads and opportunities end to end in Salesforce, ensuring each deal has clear next steps, accurate stages and up-to-date information.
• Sales execution: Run discovery conversations and product demos of the Freight Exchange platform, then negotiate and close deals.
• Forecasting: Provide accurate, regular pipeline forecasts (weekly/monthly/quarterly) and take part in pipeline reviews with sales management.
• Customer growth and retention: Build lasting relationships with new and existing customers to drive adoption, retention and upsell, reducing churn.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, customer success and other teams to follow the sales process and share best practices.
