About the Role As a

Sales Merchandiser Executive , you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding Petour’s customer base within your assigned region. Your role will involve developing new customers, managing existing accounts, visiting pet shops and retail outlets, executing merchandising activities, and identifying opportunities to grow sales and improve product visibility.

This is a

remote and field-based role , allowing you to work from home while managing your assigned territory. You will be required to travel extensively within your region to visit customers, retail outlets, and potential business partners.

No experience? No problem! Fresh graduates and candidates with no prior sales or merchandising experience are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development

Visit pet shops, retail outlets, and potential customers regularly to identify new business opportunities.

Promote Petour products and communicate key product benefits to pet shop owners and retail customers.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

Handle customer enquiries, quotations, orders, deliveries, and payment follow-ups.

Drive repeat orders and strengthen existing customer accounts.

Negotiate and close sales to achieve individual and company sales targets.

Follow up on outstanding payments and support collection activities when required.

Deliver professional after-sales service and resolve customer issues promptly.

Identify new sales opportunities and expand the customer base.

Merchandising & Outlet Management

Maintain proper product displays, stock levels, and planogram compliance across assigned retail outlets.

Inspect product placement, shelf condition, price tags, stock availability, and promotional materials during outlet visits.

Track product availability and stock movement at outlet level.





Work closely with store personnel to facilitate timely replenishment and minimize out-of-stock or overstock situations.

Execute promotional displays and improve visibility of in-store campaigns.

Brief store staff on promotions, product features, and key selling points.

Track competitors’ products, pricing, promotions, and merchandising activities.

Reporting & Sales Support

Review outlet sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.

Maintain accurate records of customer visits, orders, sales activities, stock movement, and outlet conditions.

Compile and submit regular sales, merchandising, and stock reports with photos for management review.

Share market feedback and recommend initiatives to improve sales, product visibility, and outlet performance.

Support other sales and merchandising activities as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

No prior experience required – fresh graduates and candidates with no sales or merchandising experience are welcome to apply.

Training will be provided.

Minimum SPM / Diploma in Marketing, Business, Sales, Retail Management, or a related field.

Experience in sales, merchandising, retail, promoter, roadshow, telemarketing, customer service, or field sales is an added advantage.

Experience in the pet industry or FMCG/retail industry is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with good command of

Bahasa Malaysia . Proficiency in

English and Mandarin

is an added advantage.

Comfortable with frequent travel and willing to travel extensively within Malaysia.

Possess own transport and a valid driving licence.

Confident, outgoing, and comfortable approaching new customers.

Strong willingness to learn, sell, and achieve targets.

Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Comfortable with outdoor fieldwork and frequent travelling.

Passionate about pets and the pet care industry is a plus.
