Location: Madrid Tres Cantos, Spain This position will report to the site PPL DIGITAL HW Manager. Mission * Understanding of technical requirements and definition of technical solutions. * Digital Electronics design for on-board units (based on FPGAs and microprocessors). * Preparation of design documentation. * Schematics capture in Mentor xDesigner. * Analog/digital electronics simulations. * Signal integrity simulations in Hyperlynx, ADS, Ansys or similar. * Review of post layout/placement activities. * Review of PCB routing. * Preparation of board-level tests procedure. * Internal or customer Design Reviews. * Support in validation and acceptance campaigns. * Engineering Master, preferably Electronics with firm background in digital electronic design. * Experience in (minimum 6 years) Digital electronics design: communication buses, memories (DDR2, DDR4, NOR Flash), FPGAs, microprocessors. * Knowledge of design tools: LTspice, Simplix/Simetrix, OrCAD, … * Experience with High-Speed digital links (>1 Gbps): simulations, routing guidelines, VITA Standard.



* Valued experience working with FPGAs like Kintex Ultrascale, PolarFire, RTG4, RTAX and RISC‑V based microprocessors. * Valued knowledge of space normative (ECSS) and electronics interfaces standard.
