The Role Loss Adjusters have the job of thoroughly investigating a claim, determining if payment is warranted, negotiating a financial settlement, and authorising payments to the Insured. Once the Insured makes a claim on their insurance policy, you will first investigate the claim in order to determine if the claim is legitimate and whether the policy covers the damage/loss. Key Responsibilities * Manage a portfolio of Property & Casualty claims in Spain. * Undertake site visits and meeting with Insurers, Reinsurers, Brokers, Claimants, Insureds and other interested parties. * Prepare reports commenting in detail on all aspects of the claim including legal and policy liability considerations, potential quantum and future actions. * Instruct and control surveyors, engineers, lawyers, forensic accountants and other experts as necessary. * Communicate regularly with all interested parties, calculating and approving interim payments, preparing interim reports and other communications. * Calculate and agree settlement of claims and preparing accurate final reports.



* Work closely with the team to develop the existing Property & Casualty business for current clients and identify and bring in new business, as well as build new relationships and networks both internally and externally. * Identify any key business development and marketing opportunities in the Property & Casualty area and with support, manage these to successful conclusion. * Be an integral part to develop the London and European markets and CTA’s brand profile globally. * Carry out Ad Hoc duties and tasks that are allocated to you at the discretion of management and that are within your capabilities and within the scope of your post. * Demonstrate and champion Charles Taylor Values by ensuring Agility, Integrity, Care, and Accountability and Collaboration. Required Skills * Minimum 3 years’ loss adjusting / claims handling experience. * Experience of Property & Casualty claims handling recommended but good
