Responsibilities * Design, develop and test the code that shapes the components of the application, ensuring functionality, quality and performance. * Deliver in Production a working software by applying best development practices, including documentation and parameters to reach goals. Support Production by analyzing and fixing bugs. Contribute to improving technical discipline by collaborating with cross-functional teams. * As an expert in the Backend area, contribute value on the technical layer while considering the rest of the stack as part of the Squad responsibilities. * Major Responsibility Areas: Coding; Stories Refinement; Environments management; Release; Monitoring. Essential * Good coding skills on the Middleware layer: Java 8/11/17 * Spring (Boot, MVC, CORE, Security, Dependency Injection) * Microservices: Hexagonal architecture; Patterns (Circuit Breaker, Api Gateway, Service Discovery); Feature Flags * Design Patterns, SOLID, Clean Code, Software Craftsmanship * Back End & DevOps awareness (understand the integral architecture / infrastructure) * Testing: Unit, integration and smoke testing; JUnit; Contract Testing; Framework mocks (Mockito, MockMvc, WireMock, PowerMock) * Maven * Containers and orchestration: Docker, OpenShift or Kubernetes * Ansible * Git * DDD * CI/CD pipelines * DevOps skills * Azure (Pipelines) * 5 years of experience on a similar tech stack * Agile experience with SCRUM, Kanban or XP * Excellent spoken and written English Desirable * Retail banking knowledge * Database migration (Flyway, Liquibase) * Prometheus * Security: JWT
