About the Role
As our Email Copywriter, you will own high-performing email and SMS copy across the customer lifecycle, turning retention strategy and creative briefs into messaging that earns attention, builds trust, and drives action.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced e-commerce copywriter who understands how people actually read in the inbox, and how to sell without shouting. You’ll write across campaigns, lifecycle flows, SMS, and multiple brand voices, combining strong direct-response instincts with thoughtful, human communication.

What You’ll Own
• Write compelling email campaigns and lifecycle flows, including welcome, browse and cart abandonment, post-purchase, winback, launches, promotions, and other key customer touchpoints.

• Own the copy elements that drive email performance, subject lines, preview text, hooks, body copy, and CTAs, creating a clear journey from the inbox through the click.

• Write SMS and MMS copy that communicates quickly and effectively while maintaining the same brand voice and customer-first approach as email.





• Adapt messaging to different audiences, segments, and lifecycle stages, ensuring communication feels relevant rather than treating every customer the same.

• Write specifically for the mobile inbox, creating clear hierarchy, strong opening hooks, scannable copy, and an obvious next action.

• Produce high-quality copy at significant volume across multiple brands, using efficient workflows and AI to support speed without compromising quality.

• Develop and maintain distinct brand voices, ensuring each brand has its own recognizable tone while keeping messaging consistent across campaigns and lifecycle experiences.

• Partner closely with Retention, Lifecycle, Design, and Creative teams, turning campaign briefs into clean, build-ready copy that maps naturally to the intended email experience.
