CBRE's Investment Accounting & Reporting (IA&R;) team is looking for an Assistant Controller to join our team in Madrid, and to support the financial management and reporting of real estate investment structures across a diverse portfolio of clients. Working closely with Senior Controllers and Finance teams, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis for real estate entities and investment vehicles. What You'll Do * Support the financial control and reporting of real estate SPVs and property entities. * Coordinate information between property managers, asset managers, external accountants and internal finance teams. * Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, IFRS adjustments, tax calculations and intercompany reconciliations.
* Review and analyse accounting information prepared by external accounting providers. * Perform reconciliations between property and corporate financial reporting. * Prepare financial analyses and management reporting to support decision-making. * Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes. * Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deliverables for clients. * Participate in audits, due diligence exercises, disposals and other ad-hoc projects. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.
