We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead end-to-end data projects using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse and Power BI, from requirements analysis and data modelling through data engineering, reporting and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). You will combine hands-on data engineering and BI development with leadership of a small team of 2–3 developers, delivering data solutions across multiple business areas. Tasks and Responsibilities * Lead end-to-end data projects, translating business requirements into scalable data models, pipelines and Power BI solutions; * Develop data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, SQL and PySpark; * Design database schemas and implement Data Vault and dimensional data models; * Build and maintain complex Power BI dashboards and reports, supporting UAT and production deployment; * Develop and optimize data pipelines, data quality controls, SQL queries and processing workflows; * Ensure solutions meet requirements for performance, scalability, security and data governance; * Lead a small team of developers, coordinating priorities,



workload and technical delivery while providing mentoring and guidance; * Collaborate with architects, data scientists, analysts and business stakeholders and promote data engineering and self-service analytics best practices. Profile * Bachelor's or Master's degree; * 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data modelling; * 4+ years of experience in data engineering with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse and report development with Power BI; * Strong expertise in the Microsoft data stack, particularly Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics and Power BI; * Proven experience implementing Data Lake and Data Lakehouse architectures and working with large datasets and data pipelines; * Strong experience with Data Vault and dimensional data modelling; * Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience developing data solutions
