No Offer Description Mission: Prepare and rheologically, thermally and mechanically characterize rheologically modified recycled opaque PET using continuous reactive extrusion techniques. Functions to be developed: * Execute reactive extrusion for rheological modification of opaque recycled PET. * Manufacture the sheets by extrusion and injection molding of the product. * Characterize using DSC, SAOS, DMTA.



* Evaluate and quantify fracture behavior using fracture mechanics theories applied to high loading rates (instrumented impact). * Processing by extrusion and injection molding. * Evaluation of fracture behavior at high strain rates applying viscoelastic fracture mechanics theories. Specific Requirements Knowledge: * Polymeric materials: processing, rheological behavior and fracture characterization. * Rheological behavior of polymers and their characterization. * Rheological behavior and its characterization by SAOS. * Advanced rheological and thermal characterization. * Reactive extrusion (high level). * Thermal characterization using DSC, DMTA. * Structure-processing-property relationship of polymers and polymer blends. * Additive and compounding of polymers. * It will be assessed: o Master's studies in the area of Materials Science and Engineering.
