Electronic Market Making & Algo Trading Lead, Remote, Integral, Up to $250k USD base, DeFi

I'm working with a well-backed DeFi business that's building out a new electronic market making and algorithmic trading capability. It's a genuine greenfield build, so you'll have real influence over how the function is shaped and how it grows.

What you'll do
- Design, deploy and run automated market making and algo strategies across multiple venues
- Build and manage cross-venue arbitrage with strong risk controls
- Own real-time order book management and liquidity provision
- Partner closely with engineering on trading infrastructure

What we're looking for
- Strong understanding of order book dynamics and electronic market making
- Hands-on experience building or running algo trading systems
- Commodities trading experience
- Exposure to both digital asset and traditional markets
- Solid quantitative grounding (a PhD isn't required)
- Technically fluent and comfortable working side by side with engineers
