* Previous experience working for a US company managing US accounting processes. * High level of English is mandatory A fast-growing international technology company is seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist US to join its Finance team in Madrid. The adecuado candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Accounting, with a strong background in US GAAP accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, AP/AR and tax compliance. A high level of English is mandatory, as is previous experience working for a US company or managing the accounting of a US legal entity. Reporting to the VP Finance Operations, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following functions: Financial Operations * Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. * Review and process employee expense reports and payment requests. * Support daily accounting activities related to the US business operations. * Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records and documentation.



Accounting & Reconciliations * Perform accounting entries and ensure the integrity of financial information. * Prepare and review bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations. * Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies. * Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Financial Reporting * Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management reporting packages. * Provide accurate financial data to support decision-making. * Prepare supporting schedules and documentation required by management and auditors. * Collaborate with different stakeholders to improve reporting processes and efficiency.
